©Animals Need More Rights - Lots Morearticle by hkh "when it comes to animals, actions speaks louder than words - listen" Wow, I could write a book on this subject, so I find it hard to hit an opening topic of importance, there are just s-o many. This subject just goes way too deep. There are literally millions of offenses imposed on animals - daily - hourly, across the globe. I cringe when I hear the mis-informed say that we live in a modern day society that shows compassion and is humane. Hogwash and anyone believing that, just wants to be passified. There's so much truth to the old saying "out of sight - out of mind" - however for those with a conscience, it's never outta sight, let alone, out of mind. The following pages cover what we hope to see enforced as animal rights and they cover everyone from regular jo-blows down to laws imposed on farmers and their work animals. Did you know that Farm Dogs are tax write offs but cats aren't? See why we think they should be! |

| The following are but a few of the laws that I feel should be created and enforced |
Backyard Breeders Backyard Breeders are some of the worst breeders out there because they are totally unaware that they are considered "breeders".Enforce Laws Concerning: Folks who accumulate animals, without tending to their medical needs, such as spaying or neutering and permit their animals to breed and inter-breed carelessly, causing weak genes, disease, viruses, Feline Aids and other terminal illnesses - should be charged. -Folks need to be accountable for the careless and irresponsible breeding of unwanted litters that populate and spread disease. Helping nature is one thing, interfering and hourding is another and requires a wake-up call. Charges should be: - neglect - endangering other animals -endangering other people. The picture above shows a 10 year old female who's teats have literally rotted due to over breeding - every single heat - pregnant 3 times a year, since the ripe age of 6-7 months old. This poor ol' girl, believe it or not - is a loved house pet - who's owners blamed the cat for her pregnancies and interbreeding with her sons! She pumped out 14-18 unwanted kittens a year on top of her previous daughters inter-breeding with their fathers and brothers bringing the total of unwanted kittens in that one household up to anywhere from 48-60 unwanted and quite sick kittens a year. And that's just one household. This is but one case in millions that occur.Spaying and Neutering is the ONLY way to show them you care when you have several of the both genders. Animals, like children, need to be protected from the irresponsibilities that adults impose upon them. If you feel the same, please sign this Petition that enforces Animal Rights |
Breeders Breeders should have some of the strictest rules to follow or it's game over for them - close 'em down and fine the crap right out of them. Enforce Laws Concerning: - Spotless premises, -No over crowding where only a certain number of animals are permitted per square footage -Interludes between breeding, no more consecutive breeding with one litter after the other. - Records of each breeding female, with photo descriptions - litters and litter photo description, health records of all animals (mother, father and litter) - details of adoptive parents of litter etc The enforcement of such laws pertaining to these topics alone, should be pursued by registration and follow ups at regular intervals by the Animal Bylaw Officers and S.P.C.A. Constables. Laws such as these would permit authorities to inspect the premises and records accordingly. Breach of entry, should permit the authorites to seek removal of all animals on the premises (to be sheltered elsewhere in the meantime) Breeders who follow the rules, welcome with pride, visits from those who are in authority and can verify that the Breeder is top of the line, inspected and accepted. Businesses of such stature, utilize the backing of authorities and boast of their premises and facilities to promote their business and so they should. |
