Simple easy shelters, built with a little imagination, consideration and odds and ends, give strays a place to call home and feel safe in a dangerous world of enemies and elements.
By using the general concept shown below in our diagram, you too can create a rewarding and useful shelter that strays will appreciate.

Use Glass and the Sun When building outdoor shelters for strays, you want it to suit the animal's needs so they'll use it.
NOTE: that Strays will not use anything that doesn't have more than one exit. The last thing a stray wants is to have to confront another stray (fox, raccoon, or other) at the "only way out"... AND you want it to deter the cold and retain the warmth of their body heat. Get ideas from this basic design - Send us Pictures of one YOU build!

This design offers safety, 7" passage and separate quarters.
