This beauty came to us one late fall day in 2004, somewhat bewildered and attaching herself to anyone she met up with, till finally we were asked to pick her up. Now over a year later and having even been on t.v. - My Girl - is home to stay! This gentle soul was followed by around by a big grey cat (now in the shelter and named "Fred") who independently still lives outdoors close by and waits to be fed daily. My Girl at the time of writing in 2005, is a little more than a year old and shows great promise in our animal assisted programs. Her love of youth along with her tireless and gentle playful nature is clearly evident in her actions and submissive positions. She is attentive and eager to please, heeding commands from young and old alike. MY Girl loves to be brushed and seems soothed by the voice of those attending to her. This dog is best in our youth programs and not so severely handicapped programs. Gallery || Program Animals
