AASK Services - Spay and Neuter Program(s): Our programs have multy priorities and levels, all relating to the health care of strays, personal pets and people. The immediate Spaying and Neutering of Animals brought into AASK's Shelter, is our immediate priority! Most are strays or ferals that have been sighted, observed and trapped. Our objectives begin by assuring a healthy environment for their future within the shelter, ultimately leading to the intergration of our People level programs. Future programs are to assist in the spaying and neutering of outdoor strays. When we speak of our spay and neuter program(s) for strays, we take into consideration - pets that may roam outdoors in our rural communities and encounter stray dogs or feral cats. It's not uncommon that they'll encounter a virus or a wild strain of a variety of viruses. When Sponsoring this program, you are assisting the hindering of further unwanted births *You are assiting in hindering future breeding and worse yet, inter-breeding! * you are assisting with hindering the need for feral cats to mark territory and seek battle with other males/females within the area.
